The Masterbead range of beads conforms to BS EN 13914-1: 2005, the British Standard for ‘Design, preparation and application of external
rendering and internal plastering’. This recommends the use of stainless steel or PVC beads when rendering externally. All Homelux
Building Products must meet strict quality standards set by the Homelux Quality Department and comply with ISO 9001:2000.

Application
The Masterbead range from Homelux Building Products suits all requirements for rendering, plastering and skim-coating applications and conforms to the dimensional specifications detailed in BS EN 13658-2:2005. PVC beads can be applied to numerous substrates, including:
  • Wire Lath
  • Masonry
  • Wood base sheathing products
  • Gypsum sheeting
  • Block
Installation
Installation should be in accordance with accepted industry standards and local building codes. PVC products should be fixed using a
continuous bed of mortar, with optional mechanical fixings at either end.

  • Major cost benefit over stainless steel
  • Impact resistant
  • Easy to cut
  • Light and easy to handle
  • No sharp edges
  • No corrosion
  • Excellent keying
